Are there additional costs?

County Broadband offers a free standard connection, which includes a £1000 contribution to connection costs. If the total cost of connection is more than this amount, we will request payment of any additional costs. Alternatively you may extend your contract to cover these costs.

Our Customer Connection Document will outline any additional costs, and these will be discussed with you prior to booking your installation.

A number of factors can lead to additional costs such as tree surgery required, traffic management in order for us to complete your external connection safely, digging in order to lay the ducting to your property and licence fees to use another utility provider’s pole.

If you aren’t willing to pay the additional costs, you have the right to cancel your contract.
