What can I do to make my installation go as smoothly as possible? 

To help us connect you to our network, we need a few details from you before we can undertake the work. 

Please log into your customer portal (https://service.countybroadband.co.uk) using the details contained in your welcome email. 

Once you have logged on, please complete the following simple steps: 

  • Please set up your direct debit pre-authorisation: you will not start to pay until you are connected and any deferral period has finished, and we require this pre-authorisation to arrange your installation. 
  • Please provide your consent to enable County Broadband to apply for a voucher under the Government’s Gigabit Voucher Scheme (GBVS): the voucher provides a financial contribution to the costs of building the network to provide Gigabit broadband to your property and the local community. 
  • Please check and confirm your up-to-date contact details to enable us to book your installation
  • Your primary phone number 
  • An alternative phone number 
  • Your email address 
  • If you are in an existing broadband service contract, please do not cancel any existing provider until we have successfully completed your installation. Our deferral scheme enables you to benefit from our connection as soon as we can connect you and we will not start your contract or charge you for our service until your existing contract expires. Please provide details of your existing contract, and upload an image, so that we can set up your free service period. This can be a scanned document, a picture or a screenshot and needs to show your full name, address, start date and contract length or end date.
