Where should I locate the Smart Wi-Fi Extender to get the best coverage for my Wi-Fi network?

The placing the Smart Wi-Fi Node is important to maximize the available bandwidth, and needs to be near an available electrical power point (230V), at least at waist height and in an open area (not behind your electrical devices such as your TV).

The My CB Wi-Fi App (available free for Apple and Android devices) will guide you in choosing the best position for each Node and will show you three situations:

  • RED symbol appears with the information: “The signal is bad here. Try a better position“.
  • YELLOW symbol appears with the information: “Not only good Try a better position“.
  • GREEN symbol appears with the information: “O.K, this is a good place to put your extender”.
