At County Broadband, we understand that managing finances can be tough during these times, and we're here to help you through these challenges.
To support you, we have created the Essential Broadband Package which works out at £15 per month offering 15Mbps Download and Upload speeds with unlimited data.
Eligibility for the Essential Broadband Package is for existing customers who are in receipt of Universal Credits or Pension Credits. To check if you are eligible, head to your customer portal and look under the `Services’ tab or click https://service.countybroadband.co.uk/index.php?m=dwp_tariff_check
As a new customer, you need to sign up for one of our standard plan first to be able to apply for our Essential Broadband Package.
This will enable a check to be made with the Department of Work and Pension (DWP)
- If your application is approved, we'll move your current internet service to our Essential Broadband Package. This plan follows our Standard Service Terms. Here are a few important points to note: It is free to switch to our Essential Broadband Package.
- You can re-apply as many times as you need to.
- Your contract length will not be impacted by the change of plan.
- If you switch to our Essential Broadband Package, you won’t to qualify for any future discounts offered to new customers when you switch to our standard plan later on.
- You’ll need to reconfirm eligibility as described in clause 1 when requested. This ensures you still meet the criteria for the benefits listed in clause 1, allowing you to continue enjoying Essential Broadband Package at £15 per month. If you do not reconfirm your eligibility, your broadband service will go back to your previous plan, and you'll be billed accordingly. Once confirmed, your monthly charge will stay the same on the Essential Broadband Package tariff.
- If you switch to our Essential Broadband Package, you will be billed at £15 per month on your usual billing date.
- Eligibility for the Essential Broadband Package will be regularly reviewed and we may ask for updated evidence supporting the requirements in clause 1.
