County Broadband work to minimise disruption when we build our network by using existing infrastructure where possible. However, disruption is inevitable when building new full fibre networks. We work with local authorities to agree in advance on dates for work and to plan diversion routes.
We also occasionally have a need to use localised traffic management to connect customers safely.
All planned road works are recorded by the local authority at https://one.network/ . If the work is completed early, before the permit end date, we will reopen the road.
