Troubleshooting Guide

This guide will take you through some initial troubleshooting steps to follow when your wireless service is not working correctly.

If these do not help, please contact our Customer Services Team on 01376562002 or at [email protected]

  • Ensure there is a light on your antenna's power supply

This is the small black or white box with three cables, one of which goes outside.

If there is no light, this could mean that your antenna is not receiving power.

Ensure this is plugged into a wall socket, try power cycling this, and/or test a different wall socket to eliminate possible causes.

  • Ensure your antenna and router are connected correctly

Your antenna should be connected to the "PoE" port of the power supply; your router should be connected to the "LAN" port.

Disconnect and reconnect these to be sure each cable is connected securely.

  • Ensure your router is powered on

Your router should have at least a power light visible. If there are no lights, ensure the router is plugged into a wall socket, attempt to power the router on, and/or test a different wall socket.

If the lights are acting differently to normal, you could consult the user manual for your model of router to determine what is wrong.

  • Ensure you can see your WiFi name

If you are unable to see your WiFi there could be an issue with your router or the WiFi could be disabled.

If there is a WiFi connection named after your router's make/model, this may have reset and could need reconfiguring.

  • Ensure there is no obvious damage to any of your equipment including the antenna (dish)

Any physically damaged equipment is likely to stop working correctly. If this is something like an Ethernet cable, you can swap this out for a new one.

If you perceive any danger, please disconnect the equipment in question from power immediately.
