This has four diagnostic lights.
This guide will tell you what these lights mean so that you may determine the cause of any issues you are experiencing.
POWER Light
This shows the status of the power to the Grandstream Phone Adapter.
If...
- The power light is off
This indicates that there is no power to the Grandstream Phone Adapter.
- The power light is on
This indicates that the Grandstream Phone Adapter is powered on.
INTERNET Light
This shows the status of the Grandstream Phone Adapter's connection to the network.
If...
- The Internet light is flashing
This indicates that the connection is connected but unable to receive an IP address form the router.
- The Internet light is off
This indicates that the Grandstream Phone Adapter is not connected to the network.
- The Internet light is on
This indicates that the Grandstream Phone Adapter is connected to the network.
LINK/ACT Light
This shows whether there is activity on the Internet port.
If...
- The LINK/ACT light is off
There is no activity currently on the Internet port.
- The LINK/ACT light is on
There is current activity on the Internet port.
PHONE Light
This shows the status of the phone service configured on the Grandstream Phone Adapter.
If...
- The phone light is flashing quickly
This indicates that the phone is off the hook and/or in use.
- The phone light is flashing slowly
This indicates that there is a voicemail message.
- The phone light is off
This indicates that your phone service is not communicating back to us correctly or that the configuration for this is not present on the Grandstream Phone Adapter.
- The phone light is on
This indicates that your phone service is communicating back
