The technology we use use in the antenna on your roof is the same technology, using the same frequencies as is used in the WiFi broadband box installed in many homes and businesses to allow laptops and mobile devices to access the internet. The power output of our antennas is very low and is not known to cause any harm to any humans or animals.
Public Health England, formerly the Health Protection Agency, has published this advice which states that: "There is no consistent evidence to date that exposure to radio signals from Wi-Fi and WLANs adversely affects the health of the general population."
