Why do I need a GoCardless account to pay for my service?

County Broadband uses GoCardless as its Direct Debit payment method. GoCardless are a highly secure online payment services provider that will take care of looking after your bank details and your online Direct Debit payments to companies such as County Broadband. GoCardless is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as an Authorised Payment Institution.

County Broadband does not have access to your bank account details or your GoCardless account. Your GoCardless account will show a summary of your payments and authorisations with County Broadband and other online companies. All payments are processed through the GoCardless secure computers.

When you sign up with the County Broadband service, you will register your bank account details for a variable direct debit, however, we will not charge your account with any of our fees until we have delivered a service to you or until we dispatch any of the equipment available for sale on our website. Our transactions will appear on your bank statements as paid to GOCARDLESS with a reference of CBBLTD.

You are fully protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. This entitles you to a full and immediate refund of any payments taken from your account in error.
